Terms of use

The agreement, in plain words.

Last updated 15 September 2026

The short version

Who we are

These terms are an agreement between you and Krinologic Ltd, a company registered in Ireland, which makes TaciVox. Email hello@tacivox.com.

Accuracy

TaciVox makes transcripts automatically using AI. Transcripts may be incomplete or wrong, including words, names, numbers and speaker labels. You are responsible for checking a transcript before you use or share it. TaciVox does not replace a professional transcriber, and nothing it produces is medical, legal or other professional advice.

Recording other people

In many places, everyone in a conversation has to agree to it being recorded. You're responsible for following the law where you record, and for how you use and share recordings and transcripts.

Your data

Your recordings and transcripts stay on your iPhone, locked with your passphrase. We don't have a copy, and we can't recover them if you lose both your passphrase and your recovery code. Keep your recovery code somewhere safe, and keep your own copy of anything important. How we handle data is on our privacy page.

The App Store

If you got TaciVox from the App Store, Apple's standard licence agreement for apps also applies.

No warranty

TaciVox is provided "as is". To the fullest extent the law allows, Krinologic Ltd does not promise that transcripts will be accurate, complete or fit for any particular purpose.

Limit of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Krinologic Ltd is not liable for loss caused by errors in transcripts or by relying on them, or for any indirect loss, lost data or lost profits. Our total liability to you is limited to what you paid for TaciVox in the 12 months before the claim.

What we don't exclude

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow us to limit. If you are a consumer, your statutory rights are not affected.

Law and changes

These terms are governed by Irish law. If you're a consumer, you also keep the protection of the laws of the country where you live.

If we change these terms, we'll update the date at the top. The same terms are in the app, under Settings › Terms of use.
